These are statement counters. On a large island they are genuinely spectacular; in a small galley with a busy backsplash they fight for attention and everybody loses.
One piece of advice we give constantly: if you are choosing a boldly veined slab, come and see the actual slab, not a sample chip. Veining runs at a scale a four-inch square cannot show you, and where the vein lands on your island is a decision worth making deliberately rather than discovering on installation day.
Best under: flat-panel and slim shaker doors in Choice Studio, or plain white Choice Signature shaker where the counter does all the work.
