Grey is the hardest working countertop colour we sell.

It is dark enough to hide daily use, light enough not to close a room in, and it goes with more cabinet finishes than anything else on this page. Our greys run from pale blue-grey through soft mid-tones to a genuinely dark charcoal-grey leathered finish.

Three of the eight are leathered — a matte, lightly textured surface rather than polished. Leathered greys hide fingerprints and water marks better than any polished surface we carry, which is why they end up in a lot of busy family kitchens.

What to put it under

Best under: white and grey shaker in Choice Signature, gloss and matte finishes across Choice Studio, and white slab doors in Choice Foundations. Grey is the safest pairing with white cabinets in the whole range.

In porcelain

Amani Grey and Roma Travertino are the greys in porcelain.
